What is the difference between citizenship and residency by investment?

Residency by investment gives you the right to live in a country, sometimes as a route to naturalisation later, but no passport on day one. It is separate from government contributions, due diligence charges and legal or passport fees, all of which are shown line by line before you commit.

Work starts immediately: document collection, source-of-funds preparation and agent booking all consume time before any government body sees the file. An upfront fee keeps our incentives on completing the file quickly rather than on renegotiating mid-process. The fee is fixed for the life of the file and does not increase if the case takes longer.

What happens if my application is refused?

Government contributions on most citizenship programs are only payable after approval in principle, so a refusal at due diligence stage does not put the contribution at risk. Due diligence charges paid to the state are non-refundable. Refund treatment of the professional fee is set out explicitly in your engagement letter before you sign.

Yes. Fees are quoted in USD and settled in AED, USD, EUR or GBP. Prices shown across the site convert live so you always see the figure in the currency you think in.

How long does a citizenship file take?

Caribbean programs typically run four to eight months from submission, Vanuatu can complete in under three, and European residency routes generally take six to twelve months. Timelines depend on due diligence load and how quickly originals reach us.

What due diligence will I go through?

Every program runs independent background checks: criminal record, source of wealth and source of funds, sanctions and adverse media screening, and often an interview. We pre-screen every file before submission so surprises surface with us, not with the government.

Which family members can be included?

Spouse and dependent children are included on almost every program. Many also allow dependent parents or grandparents, and a few allow unmarried adult siblings. Age limits and financial dependency tests vary, the program page for each country states the exact position.

Do I have to visit the country?

Most Caribbean and Pacific citizenship programs require no visit at all. Residency programs generally require at least one biometrics appointment, and a few carry ongoing physical presence conditions, which is stated on each program page.

Citizenship obtained lawfully is permanent in the programs we advise on, but every program reserves the right to revoke where an application was fraudulent. Complete, honest disclosure at filing is the protection.
