How to prepare for the due diligence interview

Interviews are now standard on most citizenship programs. They are not an interrogation, but an unprepared applicant can undo a strong file.

The interview exists to test whether the person matches the file. Most applicants pass comfortably; the ones who struggle are those who have never been walked through their own submission.

Know your own numbers

You should be able to explain, without notes, where your wealth came from, roughly when, and how it reached the account funding the application.

Consistency beats polish

Working through this for your own family? Book a consultation and an adviser will assess your position directly.

Small inconsistencies between what you say and what the file shows are what generate follow-up requests. Say you are not sure rather than guessing at a date.

Declare adverse history

Anything a search will find should already be in the file with an explanation. Nothing damages a file faster than an omission the agent discovers independently.

Want this assessed against your own file?

A consultation with an adviser covers your nationality, funds and timeline, and ends with a written shortlist and a fixed fee quote. Nothing is payable until you sign an engagement letter.
